Meet our Doctors

Dr. Josh puts priorities in families first. He has been married to his high school sweetheart Billie Jo for over 20 years. Together they have 3 beautiful healthy children, Dane (13), Reese (7), Cruz (4) all who have been adjusted since birth. Dr. Josh grew up in the Matunuska Valley and attended Houston Jr./Sr. High School. He actively participated in sports including basketball and football. He decided early on he would like to become a chiropractor, after healing quickly from a football injury because of chiropractic care.

After high school, Dr. Josh served four years in the United States Air Force. He learned many lifelong lessons but most importantly learned integrity, excellence and service before self. He takes pride in these core values and applies these each and everyday while serving his community.
Dr. Josh attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage for his undergraduate studies prior to attending Parker University in Dallas, Texas. At Parker University, he obtained a Bachelor of Anatomy, Bachelor of Health and Wellness as well as his Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Dr. Josh lives by Dr. James Parker’s principle “Loving service is my first technique.” (chiropractor and founder of Parker University). During his time in graduate school he went on two mission trips to Ouanaminthe, Haiti, one of which his wife Billie Jo joined him. He shared his passion for chiropractic with an orphanage, Catholic Church, hospital, schools and thousands in the surrounding communities. Dr. Josh and Billie Jo love serving at food banks, non-profits, free dental clinics and numerous other events over the years.

Dr. Rachel has always loved working with kids. Throughout high school she would babysit kids in her community and serve in her hometown’s church nursey.

She attended the University of North Dakota for her undergraduate degree in kinesiology. Coming right out of undergrad she worked in a chiropractic office which really opened her eyes to what chiropractic can really do for the overall health of people. She saw women finally able to get pregnant, people no longer suffer from seasonal allergies or have migraines, among all the other miracles that chiropractic can bring to a community. After seeing these types of miracles, she knew that it is the calling that God had for her life, so she trusted Him and took the leap to start chiropractic school.

She attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota, so she is no stranger to the cold winter months. She saw Dr. Tony Ebel speak in Minnesota, he is the founder of Pediatric Experience, and that sparked her fire for nervous system focused care, especially for the preconception, perinatal & pediatric, postpartum population.

She also felt called to move and practice up in Alaska and thanks to a Google search she found Bee Well, who also happened to be a part of the Pediatric Experience. From the first day that she stepped in the door she knew this was where she belonged and over the remaining course of her internship, she knew this is where she wanted to be from the patients, the people she worked with and the community in the Valley.

When she isn’t in the office, she is either curled up inside reading a book, watching sports or getting outside cross-country skiing and she wants to learn how to downhill ski. In the summer she loves to get outside and hike around the valley and the state. She also loves to travel and has a goal to visit every state and every national park.
